The costs follow the Healing Practitioner Fee Ordinance of 2010 (“Gebührenordnung für Heilpraktiker” – GebüH2010).

Osteopathic treatment normally will be refunded to patients who are privately insured. Please ask your insurance company before coming.

If you are not privately insured your public health fund will probably not refund the Heilpraktiker treatment. But there is the possibility to have an additional private insurance which will pay a part of the consultation, depending on the contract and the company.

Since 2012 the public health funds reimburse part of the osteopathic treatment. In any case, before coming, you should inquire in advance whether your health insurance will assume the costs or subsidize your treatment.
